Dr. Hui Yu Huang got his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Toronto. He has more than 20 years of industrial experience in pharmaceutical product discovery, lead design and optimization, research and development, CMC, project management, process development, regulatory submission and commercialization. He is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Meiji Biopharmaceutical (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. He served as the Chief Scientific Officer in the New Drug Research Center of Kexing Biopharm and the Chief Scientific Officer of Livzon Pharmaceutical Group Inc. Under his leadership, there were two biological products successfully got regulatory approval and commercialization by Chinese National Medical Products Administration, and two other biologicals entered into NDA in China. Before working in China in 2018, he served as Principal Scientist in Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research in Boston MA, and worked as a Senior Scientist in Novo Nordisk A/S in Denmark. He contributed to the research and development, and commercialization of 5 biologic drugs including injectable and oral Semaglutide and IL-17 monoclonal antibody drugs, many other products got FDA and EMA IND approval and enter into clinical trials.
