Although Quality by Design has been adapted widely in the pharmaceutical industry, there are apprehensions floating around the small and medium companies; Viz QbD is complex, expensive and tough to implement. Also, there is a general misconception that QbD is applicable only for product development. The presentation will focus on how QbD reduces the product development costs and results in the manufacturing of high-quality medicines at affordable prices.
