Dr Krishna Gudena is a seasoned expert in leading strategic digital transformation projects across diverse technical domains in R&D and manufacturing. With extensive experience in innovation, machine learning, and automation, he brings knowledge to optimizing processes and driving business value. His expertise spans biopharma, chemicals, and energy sectors, making him a valuable voice in the future of technology and sustainability. At GSK, as a Principal Investigator and Associate Fellow, he is leading Industry 4.0 initiatives under Digital Twin umbrella (Modeling, Soft-sensor, Predictive Maintenance and Model Predictive Control) and its strategic operationalization into manufacturing environment. Krishna is a technical workstream lead in Pharma Innovation Programme Singapore (PIPS) for “Tools for Accelerated Process Development and Process Technology” and BioPIPS. Prior to GSK, he worked as a Consultant at leading Asset Optimization company (AspenTech) and as a Senior Research Fellow at Cambridge Research Labs. Krishna earned his PhD in Chemical Engineering from NUS and has published 7 chemical engineering articles in tier-1 international journals including numerous peer-reviewed conference presentations.
