Timothy is an A/Prof in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He is primarily interested in RNA nanotherapeutics research. He has published more than 130 peer-reviewed papers in international journals and obtained/applied > 10 patents. He was awarded Singapore President’s Public Administration Award 2015 and Young Investigator Award in “International Symposium of Materials on Regenerative Medicine 2012”. A/Prof Timothy has ventured into a RNA start-up, RNAscence Biotechnology, which he co-founded and co-invented the world’s first transdermal siRNA gene silencing technology.
